Join us for Movimiento Miel -a four week yoga-informed movement and breathwork series designed to explore the sweetness alive in the body.
What to Expect
Prepare to slow it down and nurture your nervous system every Friday night with dreamy movement, rhythmic shakes, and soulful sounds surrounded by books and community. The intimate 75 minute class will begin with pranayama to prepare for an hour of active movement and steady breathing. Class will close with gentle breathwork and meditation.
Elli Garcia (she/her)
Yoga and Breathwork Practitioner
Over the last decade, Elli has explored the interplay between breath and movement and its influence on spiritual well-being. In 2018, she became a 200hr certified yoga instructor, completing training at Yandara Yoga Institute where she was trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative styles. In 2023, she became an alumni of the Breathwork and Training Mentorship Program for Black, Indigenous and People of Color led by Siedeh Foxie. Elli’s training is trauma-informed and student-centered. Her classes are intuitive and playful, encouraging improvisation and vocal release. As a queer, first-generation Mexican-American living at the intersection of many identities, she is committed to serving QBIPOC to encourage collective healing and connection. Elli lives with her four plants and JBL speaker in Queens, NY.
